Covid-19 Update
We would like to inform you of the changes we need to implement to reduce the risk to patients, their families and to our staff. Due to recent guidelines the appointment times will be extended and therefore we will be seeing fewer patients per day, so please be patient with us. Staff will also be wearing masks, face shields and a disposable gown or apron (PPE) depending on the procedure you are having.
Please read the information below before arriving for your appointment.
Covid pre-screening questionnaire and medical history questionnaire
Before coming to the practice you’ll be asked to complete a pre-screening and medical questionnaire, at least the day before your appointment. These questionnaire’s are important to check your vulnerability status, so we can make sure your appointment is at a suitable time.
Temperature check
Your temperature will be taken on arrival at the Practice. Should this be higher than 37.5C, we may not be able to proceed with your appointment, which will then be rescheduled. If you have a thermometer at home, it would be helpful if you could check your own temperature and then, if you do have a temperature above 37.5C, please give the practice a call.
Hand sanitiser
Hand sanitiser will be available in reception on arrival and then again on entry to and exit from the surgery.
Masks
If you do not have a face mask we will provide you with one and ask you to wear it whilst in the building, apart from when we are providing clinical treatment. You can then take the mask home with you.
Social distancing
Please respect social distancing. We will encourage this as much as the layout of the Practice allows. If you have any questions regarding social distancing, please feel free to contact the Practice.
Attending unaccompanied
Please attend you appointment on your own, unless there is a need to be accompanied such as by a parent or carer. If you need to be accompanied, please let us know before you attend.
Do not arrive too early for your appointment
You will not be able to enter the Practice ahead of your appointment time as we are trying to reduce the number of people in the building. So, if you are early, please wait in your car or outside the front door, under the porch until you are called.
Use of facilities
Please note that our toilet facilities should only be used if absolutely necessary. Please ask reception, if required. Please bring your own pen, should any additional paperwork be required to be completed. We remain committed to maintaining the highest possible standards of infection control to secure the safety of our patients and staff. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information before your appointment. We look forward to welcoming you to the Practice again.
Please do not bring any food or drink into the practice and keep personal belongings to a minimum.
